My name is Cole Quinnell and I am the Founder and CEO of Odyssey Exteriors. For more than 30 years, I’ve built my career in the construction industry, 20 of those years focused specifically on storm restoration. Over the decades, I’ve seen the best and the worst of this business. I’ve seen how storms can devastate families and communities, and I’ve also seen how the right contractor can give people hope, stability, and confidence when they need it most. Storm restoration became my passion because it’s about more than just repairing homes, it’s about restoring lives.
But along the way, I also watched the industry shift. Private equity firms began to dominate the landscape, and with that came a loss of integrity, a loss of values, and a loss of the “family-first” spirit that this industry was built on. It became about bottom lines instead of people. And I couldn’t let myself or my team succumb to that.
That’s why I made one of the hardest and boldest decisions of my life: I chose to walk away from a multimillion dollar opportunity and the comfort of the corporate machine to start something I could truly believe in again. Odyssey Exteriors was born from that choice, a company built by family, for families. A company that stands on morals, values, and doing what’s right, no matter the cost.
